As for artist who usually focuses on realistic paintings this painting was the one when I decided to insert quite abstract components. The leaves and the skies are created in some kind of quilt style, section by section. Yet the flowers are created closer to the realism. I thought it would be fun and good looking artwork to combine realism in watercolor with quilted approach for the abstract.
